I am back with another OOTD post, the last one shot in Paris before I left for Spain, sad I know… But I will be back in Paris, for sure !
This outfit was more like me trying to challenge my inner sophisticated / Parisian girl self and the result is quite alright to be honest. I wasn’t happy with the pictures at first, but few days later, it wasn’t another story.
I tried to go for a layered winter look, days having been really cold these days.
I am wearing a turtleneck mesh top bought on Aliexpress at a ridiculous price with one of my favorite dress, a black velvet split dress with some lace details. I think I got it in Zara in Hong Kong when I was an exchange student there. I got a lot of compliments on this dress. In winter, I like to layer it with a white tee, a bodysuit or a mesh top for a more “oh la la” effect.
I chose to show you two ways of wearing it:
1) If it’s not too cold, go for a city girl version of this look by throwing on a tailored blazer (mine is a navy blue old one from H&M) and some trainers (My over worn but yet very comfy Fila).
2) If it’s cold or if you are going for a more “chic” effect, add to the outfit a nice black coat (mine is from Stradivarius shopped on Asos) and and some nice ankle boots (mine are “socks” ankle boots from Pimkie).
And here you are, ready to street slay!
