Attitude In Check | Lookbook

Back again with a new outfit post where I revisit a very old-fashioned piece that is now back on trend: the houndstoth pattern.

If that doesn’t ring a bell, it is normal, I had no idea that king of pattern was name after the foot of an animal. But fashion history has always got some eccentric sides so I doesn’t really surprise me.

The houndstooth pattern makes me think of a “grandpa” jacket: very tricky to be styled sometimes but who can take an outfit to a whole other level.

As for statement pieces, the rule is simple, the most basic the rest of your outfit will be, the better it would match with these type of patterned jacket or coat (I saw a beautiful one  at Pull&Bear, but look awful on me to be honest aha !)

Anyway, hope you like this quick and simple look that I shot with my good friend Chimène at an intriguing and hidden place in Paris called Les Grands Voisins.

Some kind of arty/social center with many small boutiques and workshops and a slightly hipster vibe to it. We had fun exploring the different sections and we saw very cool street art on the walls. Definitely a must-see.
Stay inspired.
